Last week we put Emma in her own room and crib for the first time at 4 months (she was sleeping in our room in a playpen crib thingy). During that night she suddenly decided to sleep on her tummy, now I really don't know when babies are supposed to start sleeping on their tummies, but apparently my doc said she was a bit too young to be doing that but theres nothing we can do (hmm ok?!?!)
So anyways the following morning I walk into the nursery and I find her facedown (ok not really, her face was off to the side, but to me, it looked like she was face down) and I think I almost died of a heart attack right then and there, I quickly rushed over and picked her up. The poor girl started bawling! I had startled her out of her sleep hehe. So now my husband is now more paranoid then ever and has insisted we put her back in our room. Great.
I have gotten used to the idea of her sleeping on her tummy now, so I think maybe next week we will attempt to put her back in her room again. Wish me luck!
(ok sorry ladies (guys?) for the photo heavy post..I just couldn't resist)
